Report a problem
Something not right? Tell us. We will track it.
Wrong details. A visit that never happened. An ID that was not accepted. An officer who asked you for money. You do not need your home’s register number to report any of it.
Goes straight to the top
An officer asked me for money
This is free. Asking your home to pay anything is against the rules — not for the update, not for the ID check, not for the photo, not for anything. Your report goes straight to the State Grievance and Conduct Desk. It does not join an ordinary queue.
Making a complaint can never cost you your place on the register. You must be able to fix wrong details, argue with a result, or come back later once you have an ID. That is a promise of this programme, not a favour. No report has ever been a reason to remove a home.
Four other ways to tell us
Would you rather tell a person?
Whichever way you choose, somebody writes it down for you, gives you a reference number and tells you which office is handling it.
01
Tell the officer at your door
The quickest way. They log it there and then and read you the number before they leave.
02
Ring the helpline
Free to call. 0800 000 1111
03
Walk into an LGA office
Any Local Government verification desk will take it, whether or not your home has been visited yet.
04
Through your community
Your village head or ward committee can raise it on your behalf. It carries exactly the same weight.
